According to company Lions Festivals, organizer of the Cannes Lions festival, the campaign Thank you Creativity is a love letter to creativity and draws attention to its purpose and power.
“We make the case for creativity because we know that it’s a force for business, for change and for good. But we can do more. It’s our mission not just to champion creativity, but to remind people of its magic,“ said Philip Thomas, CEO of Lions Festivals.
Advertising campaign, created in-house by Lions Festivals, includes a series of print ads and short films. Print ads, which will be published in marketing publications, show a number of communication experts who tell why they are grateful for creativity. The first of the three video ads, which was first shown Wednesday, explores the creative journey. It follows the influences and sources of inspiration which made the creative people decide for this career, and urges the viewer to respond to the call of creativity.
A new website, www.thankyoucreativity.com, was also presented, where you can find inspirational lectures and studies of awarded works that are available to the public for the first time free of charge.
