Every Saturday Dolac market in Zagreb is absolutely packed, and such crowds can easily irritate people. Sometimes to the point that shopping becomes a torture.
The popular cider drink Stari Lisac (Old Fox) and Saatchi & Saatchi Croatia finally cound a solution to the problem, and offered everyone at the market a cunning solution. And it’s a solution that according to the agency requires “just a drop of experience”.
All shoppers at the Dolac market were welcomed by booths with a message “Buy a kilo and drive off”. A kilo of apples bought thus represented a ticket for a free ride in the rickshaws that eagerly waited for the most loyal buyers at several points around the market.
Anyone who bought a kilo of apples, and proudly showed their catch to the riders of Stari Lisac, got free and fast transport to the location of their choice. Stari Lisac’s rickshaws thus made commute through the crowd an enjoyable, fun experience.
And apples that day beat all other produce. Kilo by kilo, 10 stands marked by the recognizable image of Stari Lisac sold over 250 kilos of apples and did 87 rides in rickshaws.
Digital promotion of this activation will start at the end of the week on all social networks, and the rickshaws of Stari Lisac are on their way to markets in Osijek and Rijeka.
