Stephen King’s It has returned to the silver screen, and the clown is breaking box office records around the world, and one brand has found a way to ingeniously include it into its feud with the competition.

Agency Grabarz&partner from Hamburg, Germany, saw the likeness of the character clown with McDonald’s Ronald McDonald as an opportunity for a hillarious stunt that made the entire movie into „the longest advertisment Burger King ever had.“

At the end of the movie screening in Hamburg, an ad was aired stating that „The moral is: never trust a clown.“ and a Burger King logo, which delighted the audience.
