Balticbest advertising competition is open to all agencies from the countries with a population below 5 million, including Bosnia, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, and North Macedonia.

Small countries have similar challenges – small agency teams, limited budgets, short-term marketing approach of local clients, to name a few. It is quite difficult for small countries to compete against the big countries, such as the USA or Japan in global ad festivals as well. “Some small countries, like Latvia, Slovenia, or Croatia win quite often at Cannes Lions. But Estonia has never won a Lion,” explains Hando Sinisalu, the producer of Balticbest.

Balticbest gives small countries the unique opportunity to compete against each other. The judging is done live online on August 25th, so the contestants get instant feedback from the jury.

Lana Bedeković Rosandić (Alert, Croatia), Zoran Gabrijan (Futura DDB, Slovenia), and Igor Kalaba (Aquarius, Bosnia) represent the Adriatic region in the jury this year.

There is also a special category for the micro- countries (population below 1 Million), such as Malta, Iceland, Luxembourg, etc

All Gold winners will be sent to EPICA Awards at no extra cost to compete on a global scale with the giants of the advertising world.

The deadline for entries is August 16th. The organizer of Balticbest is Estonia- based B2B publisher Best Marketing (part of Bonnier Business Media)
