Atlantic Group has ensured that the largest film festival in this part of Europe, Sarajevo Film Festival, goes beyond the city on the Miljacka River, and be held simultaneously in Belgrade, Rijeka, Novi Sad and Ljubljana to the delight of lovers of creativity and good film!
Map of film art does not exist. On Wednesday, 17 August at 21:15h, one of the most interesting films from this year’s selection was presented at the Sarajevo Film Festival, which celebrates creativity and music as a universal language that knows no boundaries: Music of foreigners: Yo-Yo Ma and the Silk Road Ensemble. At the same time, Atlantic Group brought the unique story of film and the atmosphere of the region’s largest film festival to the other countries in the region.
Thanks to new technologies and social networks, all visitors of the screenings in four cities were able to check themselves as if they were at the Sarajevo Film Festival, and share their emotions because – WE ARE ALL IN THE SAME FILM!
We are all part of a story – a world, a film.
We’re not alone. Our life and all its little nuances are part of a larger story that merges into one large, earth wide movie.
This creative action of the Atlantic Group – just one of many – was made with the desire that ideas push the boundaries and connect us in sincere and good life and art emotions!
The first billboard movie projection in Novi Sad
On Wednesday evening even the audience in Novi Sad had the opportunity to enjoy the Sarajevo Film Festival thanks to a large open-air film screening by the Atlantic Group, for the first time carried out on a billboard, in front of the Novi Sad Spens.
It was a unique billboard, the first one which people voluntarily watched for more than 1.5 hours.
Thus, the iconic space in front of Spens, was made into a film stage thanks to a billboard, where all the film lovers and passers-by felt welcome.
People of Vojvodina were also pleasantly surprised with the unusual installation CUBE– which this time was the smallest theater for a big projection, and which complemented the square in front of the Spens like a film set, which made the unusual screening of the film seem futuristic.
It is well known that the citizens of Novi Sad are big fans of good music and cultural events, so this connecting of the cities in the region via film that celebrates art and music – as a universal language that everyone is familiar with – was greeted with praise and a good response from the crowd, which happily enjoyed this unusual idea and kind of a media experiment of the Atlantic Group.
