Applications for the 12th edition of SoMo Borac by Aleph are officially open! The organizers of the most important regional digital award have also introduced new categories. The jury consists of the leading regional digital experts, whose knowledge and experience will be crucial in selecting the best entries across a total of 17 categories.

A major update for the 12th SoMo Borac is the introduction of two new categories: Digital Product in Advertising and Best media Feature.

Digital Product rewards digital products of all kinds that, through innovative ideas and high execution, enable organizations to explore new aspects of digital business. SoMo Advertising awards digital projects across a total of 11 categories, along with a Special Mention by Aleph, where the project partner selects an entry that stands out in the performance marketing categories. For all details regarding application conditions and rules, please refer to the link.

In coordination with the Croatian Association of Digital Publishers (HUDI), which is co-organizing the most important event for the digital community again this year, the media categories have also been expanded. Digital publishers can now showcase specific aspects of their existing products that have been significantly enhanced or innovated in the new category Best Media Feature. Additionally, media publishers can submit their projects in four more categories: Digital Product of the Year, Digital Design of the Year, SoMo NATIVE, and Best Media Storytelling. More details about the conditions and rules for applications in the SoMo Media categories are available on the SoMo Borac website.

“We have gathered a team of the best people from the region who are leading experts in the digital industry, and we already know that they will face the challenging task of selecting the best entries. However, we look forward to seeing the outstanding projects awaiting us this year that will impress the jury. The two new categories focus on digital products and aspects of existing products that have enhanced business and user experience through innovative solutions. I invite everyone to submit their works that have stood out in the past year and demonstrate why they deserve to take home the most important award in the digital world on October 25th.,” said Ružica Vrdoljak Ličina, Executive Director of the SoMo Borac award.

Applications close on September 25, 2024, while early bird submissions are open until September 1, 2024.

A team of leading regional experts will decide on the entries that stood out in the past year. You can find out who the jury members are at the following links: SoMo Media Jury and SoMo Advertising Jury.
