Apple has launched a series of three hip-hop films in France within their “Shot on iPhone” campaign, shot entirely on iPhone X.
The films come in stylish black-and-white form and were directed by Parisian director and photographer Axel Morin. The underlying idea of the films is to pay homage to Marseille, Lyon and Paris, and each city’s musical and visual identities. In addition to being shot on iPhone, the artists in the spots recorded the lyrics of their original songs on an iPhone X as well, and all three songs can be streamed exclusively on Apple Music.
Photos from the campaign will be shown in Apple stores in France, and the campaign also includes several tutorials that encourage users to capture their city from their own perspective using the features of iPhone X.
