At a time when communication in healthcare is becoming one of the most sensitive and relevant areas of the creative industry, the appointment of regional experts to international juries further confirms the growing importance of this segment. In this context, Anselmo Tumpić, Creative Director and Co-founder of Studio Tumpić/Prenc, joins the jury of the Saniss Awards, a global platform dedicated to creativity in healthcare and wellness.
Saniss Awards emerged in the post-pandemic context with a clear ambition to recognize and reward communication projects that have real social impact. The festival’s focus is not only on creative execution, but also on the ability of ideas to improve understanding, accessibility and the perception of health in contemporary society. At the same time, the festival is building an educational dimension through a unique event in Latin America dedicated specifically to communication in this sector.
This year’s edition will take place on June 11 in Santiago de Chile, bringing together work from agencies and brands across more than forty countries. Projects are evaluated across ten categories, with the best selected by an international jury of nearly one hundred experts from leading global companies in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
In such an environment, the role of the jury goes beyond standard evaluation of creativity. It is about selecting ideas that have the potential to influence behavior, raise awareness and contribute to quality of life in the long term. As part of this process, Tumpić will evaluate projects that combine strategic thinking and creative execution with tangible health outcomes.
His appointment comes as a continuation of long-standing international engagement within the industry. Throughout his career, he has served as a juror at major global and regional competitions, including D&AD, Golden Drum and IdejaX, consistently contributing to shaping standards of creative excellence.
He began his professional journey at Fabrica, the communication research center of the Benetton Group, where he worked under the leadership of Oliviero Toscani, before continuing his career in Milan at agencies BBDO and Saatchi & Saatchi. After returning to the region, Studio Tumpić/Prenc established itself as one of the most awarded creative agencies, with accolades including Cannes Lions, D&AD, ADC NY, Epica and Golden Drum.
In the context of an increasing need for responsible and precise communication in healthcare, appointments like this further highlight how closely creativity today is tied to social impact – and how the boundary between communication and real life continues to blur.
