Publicis One announced Friday its local leadership in Serbia, nominated by Miša Lukić, Regional Chief Executive Officer of Publicis One for CEE. Publicis One is the global communications enterprise that unites all of Publicis Groupe agency brands’ capabilities and expertise under one roof. With around 8,000 employees, the Publicis One operation is spread across Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia.
Publicis One is a future–forward business model which the Group will be implementing across fifty markets globally – outside of its principle markets. Recognizing the simultaneous need for specialization and integration in marketing today, Publicis One is built with marketers’ interest at the center and strives to be the top integrator of best-in-class specialists.
This model is intended to provide clients with end-to-end solutions, including easy and flexible access to a diverse set of experts and capabilities. Brands under the Publicis One Serbia umbrella include Leo Burnett, Publicis, Saatchi & Saatchi, Starcom, Mediavest and Zenith. All agency brands will continue to exist, grow and operate within the Publicis One set up.
“We are looking forward to the new possibilities we can create with Publicis One in Serbia. Over the years, we have developed a strong suite of capabilities via all our agency brands that address our clients’ communications needs. It is not anymore only about communications and creativity, but being able to contribute to business transformation of our clients. The Publicis One set up will take us a step further, allowing us to integrate our expertise, and offer our clients more holistic plans that address their need for transformation and differentiation today,” said Lukić.
At a local management level in Serbia, Publicis One will be led by a board which will include Andjelko Trpkovic, who has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer and Branislav Loncar, who has been named as the Chief Financial Officer.
Trpkovic brings with him 15 years of experience in the communications industry across both the agency and client’s side. He began his career in communications as a Client Service Director at Srebrn & Tuš advertising agency before joining Vojvođanska bank, one of the biggest banks in Serbia at that time, as CMO. He went on to become the General Manager of the Belgrade Fair for six years before being appointed as CEO of MMS Communications Serbia in 2010. Throughout his career, his work has been recognized with several business awards for outstanding business results as well as special awards from Serbian journalists for communication with the press, notably the PRagma award, which he received three years in the row.
Loncar, brings with him in-depth experience in the areas of finance analysis, audit, internal control and investments. He started working at Leo Burnett in 2009 as a Financial Manager. Two years later he took over the position of Finance Director in MMS Communications Serbia and became the youngest Finance Director in Publicis Groupe. He specializes in implementing finance business strategy and developing efficient finance framework with optimized finance process and implementation of automatic internal controls.
All of the above newly-appointed leaders of Publicis One are already in their new roles.
“A dynamic region with a myriad of opportunities for businesses, Central and Eastern Europe is key to the Publicis One operations. Under the strong leadership of our regional CEO, Misa Lukic and proven local leaders, I have no doubt we will be able to successfully implement the Publicis One model across the CEE markets which will ultimately help to deliver value and drive growth for our clients,” said Jarek Ziebinski, Global CEO, Publicis One. “I also believe that with this model, we are creating a whole new canvas for our talent which will inspire the new kind of creativity businesses need today.”
