The third SoMo Borac conference, and the thirteenth edition of the entire event, will take place in less than ten days. The lectures are designed in a “straight to the point” format, lasting up to 20 minutes, with concrete examples from practice. Thus, on October 24, more than 20 experts from media and marketing will take the stage at the Mozaik Event Center in Zagreb.
Big names from the digital scene will share key insights gained throughout their careers, with a special focus on artificial intelligence from different perspectives and approaches. One of this year’s highlights is Pinterest, which recently introduced advertising in Croatia. Its representative, Eoin Carrigan, will explain how Pinterest uses AI innovations to develop deeper and broader visual search and content discovery, creating new opportunities for brands to succeed in the market.
Stipe Grubišić, Chief Digital Officer at the Slovenian Dnevnik.si, with over 20 years of experience in digital transformation, content strategies, and development of commercial models in the region, has worked both in Croatia and now in Slovenia. He will speak about the key differences between the two neighboring countries in his lecture “Under the Same Cloud, Yet So Different: Croatian and Slovenian Digital First-Hand.”

Andrea Čović Vidović will show that even institutions such as the European Commission are implementing AI in their daily operations, and going a step further, not only exploring what AI can do for us, but what it should do.
Creative leader with 15 years of experience in design and digital product development, Marina Jukić, will talk about how to design and guide a product vision when you can’t predict what kind of world and technology await in six months. Through her experience of pivoting and leading projects in a constant state of change, Marina discusses balancing between vision and reality, the new and the familiar, and how far innovation can be pushed on the market without losing the audience.
Fiscalization 2.0 is just around the corner, and entrepreneurs are preparing for the changes it brings. Ivan Roje, Executive Director at Parra, the company that created and launched the simplest eInvoice app fully compliant with Fiscalization 2.0, will explain what happens when law meets simplicity – and how their solution helps entrepreneurs adapt to new regulations while simplifying administration.
Nikola Dadić, Design Team Lead at Profico, leads his team through all stages of development – from the initial idea to the final solution – and will demonstrate how AI accelerates the journey from concept to functional prototype: from the first meeting and concept shaping to Figma and nearly production-ready versions.
