Once again the awards at BalCannes will be awarded by three separate juries, which is why BalCannes is a rare and unique opportunity for applicants to gain first-hand insight into the separate views of different professional representatives; advertisers, agencies and journalists.
Some of the best and most experienced market communications industry experts in the region will select the top 25 projects of the region and award them special awards, and best among them will be awarded the BalCannes Lions.
The advertisers jury this year consists of: Tanja Atanasova, Vivaks (Macedonia); Vanja Bartolec, Zagrebačka pivovara (Croatia); Petra Čadež, Atlantic Grupa (Slovenia); Dalibor Cigić, Violeta (Bosnia and Herzegovina); Smiljka Dokić Jeremić, Erste Bank (Serbia); Nađa Lutvikadić Fočo, BH Telekom (Bosnia and Herzegovina); Tanja Petrović, The Coca-Cola Company (Serbia); Iva Pregernik Jungić, Iskon Internet (Croatia); Ivo Radaković, A1 Slovenija (Slovenia) and Ratka Tiricovska, Stopanska banka AD Skopje (Macedonia).
Agency representatives who will ‘serve’ in the jury this year are: Ilinka Crvenkovska, Idea Plus Communications (Macedonia); Naida Čelik, Communis (Bosnia and Herzegovina); Petra Krulc, Grey Ljubljana (Slovenia); Igor Mladinović, Imago Ogilvy (Croatia); Almir Okanović, BBDO Zagreb (Croatia); Jana Savić Rastovac, McCann Beograd (Serbia); Milan Stojanov, Publicis Skopje (Macedonia); Ana Šutić, New Moment New Ideas Company (Serbia); Berin Tuzlić, Via Media (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Blaž Vuk, Pristop (Slovenia).
Along with client and agency juries, best projects will also be assessed by experts from the media who actively cover the industry: Ekrem Dupanović, Media Marketing (Bosnia and Herzegovina); Sandra Babić, Lider Media (Croatia); Boris Eftimovski, Marketing365 (Macedonia); Marjan Novak, Marketing Magazin (Slovenia) and Ivana Parčetić Mitić, Marketing Mreža (Serbia).
In order to ensure the neutrality of assessment, selected jury members are not allowed to vote for their own projects, nor for those with which they have vested interests. This year the submitted projects will not be categorized, so categories will not affect the selection.
Agencies have the opportunity to participate with they small projects or large campaigns, which can be entered by Friday, September 7, 2018. Take advantage of the great opportunity for a business breakthrough thanks to which advertisers can find agency partners to collaborate with, and where agencies can find new clients!
