Experience from Novak Đoković’s communications team, international agency networks and the production of films starring Meryl Streep and Helen Mirren forms part of the programme for the second edition of ADriatic Fest. The conference will take place on 6 and 7 November at the Maestral Resort & Casino hotel in Pržno, Budva, with this year’s theme, KNOW HOW, dedicated to the practical knowledge behind creative and business decisions.
For marketing and communications professionals, the programme offers experience of working with brands, public figures and organisations. Among the announced speakers is Nebojša Mandrapa, Partner and Director of Brand and Personal PR at the agency New Media Team, who spent years as part of Đoković’s communications team. Marijana Kovačević will also participate, bringing more than two decades of experience in marketing and management, including leadership positions within the international network IPG Mediabrands.
Agency experience will be brought to the programme by Dalila Ljubičić, who has worked at Publicis Groupe, Dentsu and Direct Media during her career, and Adela Petrović, a long-standing new business manager at agencies. Vladimir Simić, Creative Director and Screenwriter, combines experience in advertising and creative strategy, while Tanja Tatomirović brings knowledge of strategic and crisis communications, gained in part through many years of international work at Microsoft.
The film programme includes Nicholas Martin, the British screenwriter and producer who wrote the screenplays for Florence Foster Jenkins, starring Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant, and Golda, with Helen Mirren in the lead role. Films based on his screenplays have earned a total of three Oscar nominations, four BAFTA nominations and four Golden Globe nominations. Also coming to Budva is Stuart Urban, the British screenwriter, director and producer, a two-time BAFTA winner whose work includes the series Our Friends in the North.
The connection between creative work and international production will be presented by Damiano Vukotić, whose career includes nearly two decades of work within Ridley Scott Creative Group and RSA Films. Vedad Fišić, a serial entrepreneur, film producer and creator working with artificial intelligence, will discuss the changes technology is bringing to content creation and business. His experience includes developing multimillion-value business projects and collaborating with brands such as Emirates, KAYALI and RØDE.
The programme is structured around questions of how ideas develop, which decisions determine their execution and how problems are resolved during the process. Under the slogan WE’RE BACK. WE KNOW HOW., the conference will combine talks, discussions and practical workshops through its HEAR HOW and SEE HOW programme strands, focusing on the processes and experience behind the projects presented.
Alongside the conference content, professional networking is planned for representatives of companies, agencies and creative studios, entrepreneurs and independent professionals.
