The largest national creativity award, IdejaX, organized under the auspices of the Croatian Association of Market Communication Companies (HURA) as part of the Communication Days festival, is coming with a fresh look this year, introducing numerous innovations. For 15 years, it has been recognizing and rewarding the best ideas, bold visions, and daring innovations. This edition features expanded categories and an improved scoring system. Whether you dominate market segments, redefine the use of communication channels, transform brands, or change the world for the better – there is now a category where your creation can shine.
Best on Market, Best in Channel, Best Branding & Rebranding, Best of Positive Change are the four competition groups where applicants can showcase the power and success of their best creative ideas this year. Among the existing categories, the Best in Channel group is new, celebrating the best idea in service of market communication across 13 categories:

- Best Online Video – Short Format
- Best Online Video – Long Format
- Best Print (Advertisement, Publication, Poster)
- Best Outdoor – OOH
- Best Outdoor – DOOH
- Best Audio & Radio
- Best Brand Experience & Events
- Best Packaging – Small Circulation
- Best Packaging – Large Circulation
- Best Digital – Websites
- Best Digital – Social Media
- Best Digital – Creative Use of Technology
Grand Finale at Communication Days
A project can be submitted to only one category within the groups I. Best on Market, III. Best Branding & Rebranding, and IV. Best of Positive Change. However, it can be submitted to multiple categories within the new Best in Channel group. A new scoring system has also been introduced this year, details of which can be found in the official Rulebook.
Another novelty is that the winners of bronze, silver, and gold awards, as well as the Grand Prix, will not be announced before the awards ceremony. So, be sure to mark May 16 in your calendar, when the winners will be revealed during a gala ceremony as part of Communication Days in Rovinj.
Participation and Applications
To participate, applicants must fill out a simple online form providing the name of the project, the agency and client, the category of submission, strategic partners, and individual recognitions for those most responsible for the project’s success. Participants must also submit their project, presented as either a video summary of up to two minutes or a PDF document.
Creativity today knows no bounds, and IdejaX has embraced this, redefining the rules of the game and tailoring everything to the creative leaders of market communications. So don’t hesitate – apply now! The qualifying period includes projects from February 18, 2024, to March 6, 2025, and the application period for all groups is open until March 6, 2025.
