We are just a month away from the fifth and, according to the organizers, the most powerful D Business Leadership Summit, founded by Siniša Drobnjak, an expert in personal and business transformation. Although the DBL Summit originally started as an education event for dental medicine doctors, the topics of personal and business development, as well as successful communication, are relevant to all healthcare managers, making it a unique three-day gathering. This year, along with top speakers such as NASA’s space medicine doctor and physiologist Stijn Thoolen, an original concept for the closing party is being prepared, one that has not yet been seen in Croatia.

“An average dentist has trained for at least 10 years to solve common clinical problems, and often 15 or more years for solving specific problems or specializing in a particular field. The same applies to doctors, and they have had very little or insufficient education in solving ‘non-clinical’ problems of communication, people management, and finances. The reason for this is that the comfort zone is too large, and the problems that arose along the way were often too small. The best time to solve problems is when they are small, or better yet, now! That is why the DBL Summit gathers leading global experts whose selfless sharing of their own experiences aims to accelerate the development of non-clinical skills in healthcare,” explains the organizer Siniša Drobnjak, an entrepreneur with thirty years of experience.
The first day of the DBL Summit is dedicated to clinical skills, with leading global experts in dental medicine such as Victor Clavijo and Edson da Silva, in collaboration with the Croatian Society of Aesthetic Dental Medicine. The following two days are “reserved” for successful foreign and local entrepreneurs, athletes, managers, and business consultants who have already succeeded in their fields and will generously share their experiences with the participants.
A business workshop by coach Gordana Kastrapeli and a talk with celebrated swimmer Dina Levačić, who will teach participants how to build a winning mindset, are worth noting. In the spring, Dina began her new project, “104 Dalmatinci,” during which she swims around 104 islands, islets, or reefs in Dalmatia. Citizens and sponsors can purchase a “swum” island, with the money going to charity, and the DBL Summit is one of the sponsors of this commendable initiative.
At the end of the second day, the hall’s lobby will be decorated with an art exhibition by Robert Pongrac, one of the best dental technicians, who uniquely combines his love for art and profession.
The final day will start with communication topics presented by one of the DBL Summit founders, Dr. Quoc An Nguyen, as well as the domestic crisis communication expert Krešimir Macan, hosted by entrepreneur Saša Cvetojević.
Special attention by the DBL Summit organizers has been given to the musical segment and a live concert in Zagreb’s Katran. The original music for the DBL Summit is composed by Nino Krznar, a bassist and keyboardist with extensive experience in production, arranging, and leading bands, and the attendees can also expect a performance by Mario Klarić, a renowned drummer and music producer whose career has long crossed Croatia’s borders, particularly highlighted by a performance before 90,000 people in Argentina.
The unique sound of this year’s DBL Summit will also be enriched by the distinctive tone and improvisational style of Mario Bočić, a virtuoso saxophonist and composer, who has become one of the most respected musicians on the Croatian jazz scene. Joining the performance will be the founder Drobnjak himself, and the microphone will be open to all, so speakers and participants will also have the chance to sing and play with the “D Band,” composed of the aforementioned musicians and guests exclusively for this occasion, to a carefully planned DBL Summit Party playlist available on the Spotify music platform.
