The internationally awarded Future Tense conference, organized by the Zagreb agency Komunikacijski laboratorij, is going beyond national borders for the first time this year. In partnership with the strategic Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies (CIFS), it is introducing its concept in Denmark.
Future Tense Copenhagen will cover topics such as the new social order, the future of healthcare, technology, sustainability, and leadership. Speakers will include CIFS Director Daria Krivonos, CIFS Senior Advisor and Head of Media Sofie Hvitved, renowned futurist Gerd Leonhard, and Bogi Eliasen, CIFS Director of Health.
Announcing the conference in Copenhagen, Manuela Šola, Director of the agency Komunikacijski laboratorij and the driving force behind the Future Tense platform, emphasized:

Manuela Šola
“Since 2018, Future Tense has been bringing together futurists, experts, and business leaders in Croatia to reflect on the future. When we launched the conference, our goal was to spark conversations about the future of business and to build a community we strongly believe can bring positive change to our society. Today, Future Tense powered by Lürssen is recognized beyond Croatia’s borders, and we are honored to continue initiating discussions on the future of business in Denmark, expanding knowledge at the European level.”

Gordan Kolak
“In a time of global change and dynamic geopolitical relations, decisive leadership is the backbone of market survival and economic competitiveness. That’s why we support this platform for sharing knowledge and experiences, as it lays the groundwork for cooperation, innovation, and excellence – essential for overcoming today’s challenges. As an industry leader in energy, mobility, and digital solutions, we recognize the need for networking and synergy among key stakeholders in the European economic community. The Future Tense conference embodies these values and offers an opportunity to present new ideas and gain valuable insights from experts with whom we are building a more sustainable and prosperous future,” said Gordan Kolak, CEO of KONČAR and a Future Tense conference partner.
Stjepan Orešković, founder and majority owner of BOSQAR d.d., the holding company of BOSQAR INVEST Group, highlighted the importance of dialogue around global challenges for a better business future:

Stjepan Orešković
“We are living in a time of intense geopolitical shifts and rapid technological changes that deeply transform our lives, our work, and our communities. At BOSQAR, we believe that those who can recognize new patterns and connect people, technologies, and capital have reasons to be optimistic. Creating new value is unimaginable without careful listening and learning from those who have demonstrated leadership ability. That’s why we support this conference as a platform for open dialogue about global challenges that transcend specific industries and economies. Copenhagen is a great place to bring such ambitions to life,” said Stjepan Orešković.
The Future Tense Copenhagen conference, taking place on May 27, represents a major step forward for the platform itself and demonstrates that Croatian ideas and business event models have the potential for international application and can compete in the European market.
