Each year, a different city hosts weCAN’s CANnual Meeting, and the 8th edition of this event organized by the independent agency network.
The host of the event was local agency New Moment New Ideas Company. Representatives of independent advertising agencies from 11 countries came together to evaluate the network’s past year and to build stronger connections.
Besides sharing experience of different CEE markets, each year the event features a keynote speaker. This time Lazar Džamić, Ex-Head of Brand Planning Google ZOO London presented his insights on brand building in a ‘skippable’ world.
“Belgrade is an open, vibrant city, so it is a pleasure to welcome colleagues from around the region in this emerging creative hub. The CANnual Meetings are not only perfect occasions to strengthen our connections, but to engage with the different mindsets. Lazar Džamić welding global experience with local perspectives conveyed the perfect examples how this regional network can implement broader trends,” said Žarko Sakan, Managing Director of New Moment New Ideas Company, the host agency of this year’s meeting.
“It is essential to bring the different approaches in the network together: creative, media and digital agencies exchange ideas during our Meetings, we seek to showcase examples that can be adapted – our strength lies within this,” said László Szarvas, CEO of weCAN.
