The international nine-member jury met Wednesday in Portorož to finalize the shortlist for the Sempler awards for the best media strategies, and has selected 34 finalists.
Of the 34 shortlisted media strategies, most of them were entered by the company OmnicomMediaGroup / OMG Slovenia, with six finalists, followed by Luna \ TBWA and Grey (both companies from Slovenia) with five projects each. In terms of advertisers, the one with most projects in the shortlist is the Pivovarna Laško Union brewery, which has seven finalists, followed by Lidl Slovenia, Palmers and Renault Nissan Slovenia.
The international jury of experts who evaluate projects submitted to the competition Sempler this year are: the jury president Nikola Bubanj, CEO of agency group Grey Adriatic & Balkans; Dinko Brčić, head of planning in the Croatian advertising agency BBDO Zagreb; Dali Bungič, executive director of the Slovenian agency Luna TBWA; Iva Djurković, director of the Serbian agency Luna TBWA Belgrade; Marina Kraljić, executive director and regional media director at media agency Unex Media from Croatia; Goran Medić, director of Fructal in Ajdovščina; Ana Mirković, executive director of the Institute of Digital Communications from Serbia; Tanja Petrović, head of marketing for Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia in The Coca-Cola Company; and Davor Runje, co-founder of Croatian digital agency Drap.
Sempler awards in nine competition categories and Grand Sempler for the best media strategy, as well as the two TOP SEMPL awards for media manager of the year and media star of the future in 2016, will be officially awarded at the two-day conference of media trends (SEMPL) which starts today, 24 November 2016, at the GH Bernardin.
