27. SOF: Are you willing to put your money where your mouth is?

The Slovenian Advertising Festival (SOF), which will be held on April 12 and 13 in Portoroz, certainly represents an event that should not be missed. SOF is the national festival of the Slovenian advertising industry, but topics that will be discussed by carefully selected domestic and international experts are by no means local.

Today we present three speakers who are worth listening to.

Goodvertising – your voice and work are important

Thomas Kolster, Mr. Goodvertising, is a man with a plan and one of the pioneers among those who support causes. He’s a world-class speaker, a columnist of the Guardian magazine and several other publications, is a regular jury member at international award ceremonies. The Huffington Post called him “an inspirational leader”. As a passionate entrepreneur and agent for change, he has founded platforms for changes such as Cph:Change and Wheregoodgrows.com.

To describe the advertising industry as an industry that is constantly changing and which has become a movement for itself, he coined the term Goodvertising.

At SOF, Thomas will show through global examples how brands transform challenges in success stories, where profits go hand in hand with the people and the planet.

The Endangered Brands

Ron Cregan has more than 25 years of experience in the communications industry. He began his career as creative director at the Design House agency, later founded the Integrator advertising agency and developed successful strategies for numerous brands. He has advised a range of luxury brands from The Maybourne Group of Hotels to Porto Montenegro, as well as brands Mulberry, All Saints, Le Grand Bellevue and many more. In order to inform the creative community of the dangers caused by ill-designed legislation, especially when it comes to packaging design, he founded the Endangered Species company. He is currently advising numerous international brands in the beverage, luxury and sports sectors. Ron is a co-founder of one of the world’s leading digital mapmaking companies, LivingMap.

Sašo Dimitrievski, a partner and member of the board at Pristop group, will seek answers to this question together with his collocutors. In 1996, Sašo founded the leading digital agency in Slovenia, Renderspace, which he led several years. His personal transformation is at the same time a transformation of marketing and marketing consulting. He is always in touch with the trends he loves to pioneer in the company’s internal processes, which he has been a loyal member of since 2000, when Renderspace became an important member of the Pristop Group. In the advisor-client relationship, he knows what business success means.

Three other outstanding experts will join him: Miroslav Babič, Advisor, Indigo Consulting, Matevž Klanjšek, Co-Founder and Product Development Manager, Celtra and Matej Potokar, Executive Vice President, CozyLab.
