SLOVENIAN CRAFT BREWER KOMUNAJZER LAUNCHES “TITO” AND “JOVANKA” BEERS
A small brewery from Novo Mesto in Slovenia, Komunajzer (Old Communist), has launched a small series of light beer “Tito”, and a bitter wheat beer “Jovanka”, which sparked a debate in Slovenia as to whether the former Yugoslav president can be “celebrated” this way, as well as about the nature of his rule
Namely, the brewer posted a photo of the two beers on their Facebook page, made in one of Lidl stores, and boasted that the sales are going well.
On the occasion of the Days of Beer, these beers were a part of the “craft” showcase which includes about 50 small series offered by craft brewers in Slovenia.
Answering the allegations that they wanted to cheer the Yugoslavists, Lidl said they had no intention of raising political emotions among consumers, and does not want politics in their stores, as they are frequented by both the “left” and the “right”.

“The Coca‑Cola Company Sweetener Challenge is looking for a natural, safe, reduced, low- or no-calorie compound that creates the taste sensation of sugar when used in beverages and foods. We think that somewhere in the world, there is an individual or team of people who can solve our challenge!” the company said in their challenge.

ANA’S PRODUCTION TRANSPARENCY REPORT CORROBORATES YEARS OF ILLEGAL, ANTICOMPETITIVE BEHAVIOR BY AD AGENCIES
A Wall Street Journal article rocked the ad industry last December, revealing that the U.S. Department of Justice had begun investigating the practice of bid rigging, which agencies and their parent companies allegedly use to divert work on big-budget client campaigns to their own in-house postproduction units.
Now, the Association of National Advertisers released its highly anticipated “Production Transparency in the U.S. Advertising Industry” paper. The 30-page report, which took months to produce, effectively affirms many of the anticompetitive behaviors that have been open secrets in the ad business for some time.
