I&F MCCORNER CONTINUES WITH A LECTURE ON “CONTENT MARKETING – HOW TO CREATE MEMORABLE CONTENT?”
On Thursday, 1 December, from 18.00h, the autumn season of I&F McCorner continues with a lecture on Content Marketing – How to create memorable content?. The lecture will be held in the Belgrade Youth House by Ljiljana Vučetić, Account Manager at fullservice digital agency Drive.
“Storytelling is an essential part of human nature despite the technological changes that are transforming the world of communications. For brands, that implies that messages sent to consumers must follow the trends in terms of form, accessibility, relevance, etc., in most cases, digital channels are saturated with hyper aggressive ads, users’ attention is declining, and therefore the brand relevance in their eyes. One approach that in these conditions brings not only communication success, but also business success, is content marketing, which allows the promotion of brands seamlessly, without persuasion and fatigue of users. In this regard, the lecture will discuss strategies aimed not directly to sell products, but to ‘sell’ ideas, opinion or authentic style,” explained Ljiljana.
I&F McCorner is organized by the American Corner in Belgrade and the I&F McCann Group, in order to contribute to a better understanding of the activities and the transfer of knowledge and skills necessary for the modern world of communications.
Lectures are free, and the number of seats is limited. Anyone interested can apply via e-mail: beograd@americancorners.rs.

FACEBOOK INTRODUCING CENSORSHIP TOOLS TO PENETRATE CHINA?
Facebook is reportedly developing special software that will allow the social network to adapt to the censorship requirements in China, reports the BBC. This social networks giant, however, refused to confirm or deny the existence of such software.
“There is still no decision on company’s approach to this country,” said a spokesperson of the social network.
The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), a group which advocates better online privacy, told the BBC that this news is extremely worrying, while sources of the New York Times report that the social network will probably never be implemented in China.
Since 2009, the only way to access Facebook in China is through virtual private networks, as the country authorities had blocked it back in 2008, when Facebook had 100 million users.
