NIELSEN PROPOSED – MARKETERS CHOSE
InStore Magazine, in collaboration with the research company Nielsen, which has been operating in the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2006, have come up with a research whose goal is to compile a list of Top100 brands that are most important to marketers themselves.
A total of 19 groups of categories were devised, covering around 44 categories as defined by Nielsen.
These are the categories that Nielsen monitors in the market through their Retail Panel, which encompasses hyper- and supermarkets, mixed retail stores, drugstores and pharmacies, kiosks and gas station stores.
The list includes almost 400 brands, and the goal is to name the 100 Must Have brands that companies should have in their assortment, in accordance with the votes of retailers themselves.

FOR THE HUNTERS NIGHT HELD FOR THE FINALE OF SARAJEVO FILM FESTIVAL
The traditional For the Hunters Night event was held on Friday night at the Sarajevo Film Festival’s Sensation Bridge, where visitors could relax and show off their dance moves. This event was a great ending for the fans of the seventh art who visited the Sarajevo Film Festival, but also for all those who were exploring Sarajevo for their summer holidays.
For the Hunters Night, was held in the rhythm of salsa and Latin Jazz in the interpretation of the regionally renowned band Cubismo, which provided visitors with an unforgettable night of Latin American rhythms.
FACEBOOK’S POSTERS “DEFACED” IN LONDON
An anonymous street artist has chosen Facebook as their target in London these days, and their posters on city transport stations.
Facebook is in a major global campaign to distance itself from scandals that are shaking the world, regarding fake news, leaking personal information and election meddling. Copy of the campaign says Fake News is not our friend, but in London their posters now also bear the added phrase “…it’s a great revenue”.
According to world media, the protest is the work of an anonymous street artist named Protest Stencil, who is sharing the images of “corrected” posters on social networks.
Also, the message “Data Abuse is Not Our Friend”, Protest Stencil added “…it’s our business model”.
FRENCH LUXURY GIANT LVMH MOVES U.S. MEDIA BUSINESS FROM HAVAS TO DENTSU
LVMH, the Paris-based conglomerate that includes several top fashion, beverage and cosmetics brands, has awarded its North American media account to Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) after a competitive review that launched in April. Multiple parties confirmed today that Havas lost the business to a DAN entity consisting of teams from Carat and other agencies.
Company spent nearly $400 million in U.S. last year.
UNITED ENTERTAINMENT GROUP OPENS TOKYO OFFICE, BEGINS PREPARING FOR 2020 OLYMPICS
United Entertainment Group (UEG), part of DJE Holdings Network, opened its first Asia office in Tokyo today. The self-described entertainment, sports and lifestyle agency said the new hub will play a pivotal role in its expansion into the Japanese market, and as it prepares for the 2019 Rugby World Cup and 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
