RANKO JELAČA FROM ATLANTIC TRANSFERS TO TELEKOM SLOVENIA
Ranko Jelača, who since the New Year ran marketing of the strategic business area of sports and active food at Atlantic Group, is transferring to the Telekom Slovenia, by decision of Telekom’s supervisory board that held meeting on Tuesday. His four-year term will begin on 1 March.
Ranko Jelača was in Atlantic Group since 2011. By December last year, as Marketing Manager, he was responsible for brands Cedevita, Cockta and Donat in the markets of South-eastern Europe, Russia, Italy and Austria.
At Telekom Slovenia he will be responsible for the market, so his responsibilities will cover marketing, sales and customer care.
BRUKETA AND ŽINIĆ TONIGHT AT BELGRADE’S PAROBROD
In the framework of the “442, days of ZG pop culture” program, on Friday, 15 January, at 19:00 hours, Davor Bruketa and Nikola Žinić will present themselves to the Belgrade audience, at Parobrod (Steamboat, address Kapetan Mišina 6a).
Cultural Institution Parobrod is entering 2016, its sixth year of operation, through a kind of transformation of its oldest program called. Days of the Zagreb pop culture. From this year, it will no longer be a traditional weekend in December, but a continuous collection of events throughout the year, in cooperation with many old and new partners-hosts from Belgrade, and of course from Zagreb. Events will range from Crocodile Festival to Zagreb Film Festival … from Popular to Bruketa and Žinić.
It all starts tonight, on January 15, with the long-awaited personal story about Davor Bruketa and Nikola Žinić, from the famous eponymous creative agency, and on the subject of their verbal and video retrospective: industrial and commercial design, corporate success and the sensibility of artistic independence. Bruketa&Žinić OM was established in 1995 and celebrates two decades of existence as one of the top independent advertising agencies in the world. It is made up of over 80 creative people from Zagreb to Belgrade, and from Vienna to Baku. They are not DJs, but logically and naturally they have their own clothing brand, Brokula&Ž.

POKEMON TO CELEBRATE THEIR 20TH BIRTHDAY WITH AD AT SUPER BOWL
Our younger readers will probably find this news nice and interesting: the Pokemon brand is celebrating its 20th birthday with an ad at this year’s Super Bowl. Ad details are scarce, and the Pokemon company said only that the ad will encourage fans to “Train On”, which alludes to the competitive spirit of Pokemon games and trading cards, in which the players are called “trainers”.
JORDAN SPIETH SIGNED AS NEW FACE OF COCA-COLA
Coca-Cola announced that it has signed a multi-year sponsorship agreement with golf star Jordan Spieth, and it is believed that this is one of Coca-Cola’s biggest sponsorship deals. Financial details were not disclosed, but ESPN has announced that the contract with the famous golfer is approximately on par with the deals the company has made with basketball star LeBron James, actress Jennifer Aniston, and the pop star Taylor Swift.

Publicis Communications announced that it has started its activities, and that Mark Tutssel, global chief creative officer of Leo Burnett, will chair the creative committee of the newly formed organization. Publicis Communications consists of global creative networks Publicis Worldwide, Leo Burnett, Saatchi & Saatchi, BBH, production company Prodigous and communications company MLSGROUP, under the leadership of CEO Arthur Sadoun.
AGENCY INNOCEAN USA TAPS ERIC SPRINGER TO LEAD CAMPAIGNS FOR HYUNDAI
Agency Innocean USA has taken on Eric Springer as its new chief creative director. Springer is a creative executive with extensive experience with the automotive industry, and will now lead campaigns for Hyundai at Innocean USA. Springer has previously held senior positions in the companies such as FCB West, Pitch and Deutsch L.A. He will lead a team of 150 creative, production and studio employees based at Innocean in Huntington Beach, California.
