ONE MILLION HRK TO SAVE PARTY’S IMAGE AND RATING? MEMBERS OF THE TEAM THAT HELPED MILANOVIĆ’S RATING APPEARED AT THE IBLER’S SQUARE!
SDP intends to engage the team of US PR expert Alexa Braun to help improve the rating and the image of party chairman Davor Bernardić, claims one of the highly-positioned SDP members, who adds that the party is ready to spend HRK 1 million (€130 thousand) for that engagement.
The engagement of political consultant Alex Braun in the campaign for parliamentary elections in 2015 is considered to have had a crucial impact on the rise of the SDP’s rating, and the then party chief and PM Zoran Milanović. However, some SDP members question the justification for this engagement, since the party is not campaigning, and is actually in debt.
According to unofficial sources, Alex Braun’s team members recently stayed at Ibler’s Square, and part of the HRK 6 million loan that the party raised in Erste Bank in June will be spent on their engagement.
Braun’s PR team should be engaged for six months, and their costs would include airline tickets, accommodation in Croatia and royalties for US experts, as well as domestic PRs, given that there is no longer a team that did Milanović’s campaign.
GORENJE RETRO REFRIGERATORS PROVE EXCELLENCE IN THE UK
The Licensing Awards, awarded by The Licensing Source Book, were presented last week in London. The awards proclaimed the best licensed products on the UK market last year. Nearly 5000 reported products were judged by the criteria of design, innovation, originality, customer-friendliness and quality. Among the winners is Gorenje. Their Retro Special Edition refrigerators, licensed by German Volkswagen, won the title of the most innovative product.
“Volkswagen is one of the most powerful brands, and T1 is one of their most iconic products. YOUTUBE INTRODUCES ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT OPTIONS AMONG MOBILE USERS
The ability to accelerate video playback for years has been available only on the desktop version of YouTube, and is only now coming to mobile, even though it was one of the most sought-after features among the users.
The speed will be adjustable from 0.25x to 2x, writes the Phone Arena.
“When speeding up or slowing down the playback, we adjust the number of frames that match the sound of a video. Video thumbnails are not necessarily chronologically sorted, so in order for the video to remain synchronized with sound, the video decoder must work faster than the frame in which the images of the video are displayed,” reads the YouTube blog.
