REPRESENT COMMUNICATIONS THE OFFICIAL AGENCY OF KOPAONIK BUSINESS FORUM 2016
Agency Represent Communications will manage communication for the upcoming Kopaonik Business Forum, which will be held from 8 to 10 of March, at the Congress Centre of the Grand Hotel in Kopaonik, bringing together more than 600 representatives of the largest companies in Serbia, the Serbian government, the diplomatic corps, academia and the media.
The agency will be in charge of the relations between organizers and participants of the Forum with national and regional media, and digital communications.
Organizers of this year’s 22nd consecutive Kopaonik Business Forum are Serbian Association of Economists and the Association of Corporate Directors.
A SILICON VALLEY INVESTOR AMONG SPARK.ME SPEAKERS
Marvin Liao, a partner in one of the most famous American startup accelerators, 500 Startups from the Silicon Valley, will speak at one of the biggest marketing conferences in South East Europe, Spark.me, which will be held on 28 and 29 of May, in Bečići.
Liao has spent over ten years in one of the most popular web sites in the world, Yahoo!, where he gained valuable experience working in numerous positions in different sectors – from sales, through development, to marketing. Liao is a member of the boards of directors and the advisory boards of a number of technology companies, and is engaged as a mentor to several startup accelerator programs in Europe, Asia, Israel and the United States.

YOUNG BALKAN DESIGNERS 2016 OPEN FOR ENTRIES
The Balkan Design Network, founded by the organization Mikser from Belgrade, Croatian Designers Society and Public Room from Skopje, announced the sixth regional design competition Young Balkan Designers 2016, under the slogan New Analog.
Entries for the competition are open until 10 April 2016, for all members of the BDN network to 35 years of age from Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia and Turkey.
TOMO RICOV: NOW IS THE TIME FOR SOMETHING NEW
Zagreb club Pepermint, known for its close connection with the advertising industry, but also because its co-owner Tomislav Ricov, is the founder and director of the Weekend Media Festival, officially closed on Saturday and will reopen this Friday at the new location. After five years in the same place, Pepermint is moving and is getting a new name – Peper.
“The new location, three floors and a terrace give us space for additional content. Still there will be our DJs and the old program that we will build upon. We can now also do daytime parties and because of the terrace we can work in the summer. I’m very proud of these past five years of Pepermint. I enjoyed it. But now it’s time for something new. “SHOW YOUR BEST BLUE STEEL” FIAT 500X AND PREMIERE OF ZOOLANDER 2
Global fashion icon Zoolander is back, in a brand new, yellow Fiat 500X.
Amid the premiere of Zoolander 2, agency M2Communications for FCA Serbia created the activation titled “Show your best Blue Steel”.
Models, styling inspired by the film, colorful props and good atmosphere, gave a special tone to the activation, which was implemented at the cinema Cineplexx Delta City. Visitors at Cineplexx had the chance to participate in a photo contest, posing in front of the car and trying their best impression of Zoolander’s signature “Blue Steel” look.
KARLOVAČKO NEW SPONSOR OF HAJDUK FOOTBALL CLUB
By signing the sponsorship agreement between Heineken Croatia and football club Hajduk, Karlovačko beer became a proud sponsor of this famous Croatian football club. On this occasion a special edition of the Karlovačko beer was unveiled – Karlovačko Hajduk 1911 – which carries the name and the crest of the iconic club from Split. Representatives of Heineken, who are also members of the club Hajduk, received the jerseys with the numbers 18 and 54 which indicate the year of establishment of the brewery in Karlovac.
AS OF NOW INDEPENDENT EXCLUSIVELY DIGITAL
After 29 years of publishing The Independent will move to exclusively digital format, because the demand for the printed edition was not great anymore, say leaders of this publishing house. The magazine will start rolling out in digital form on 26 March, and the editor of the Independent argues that this will bring new quality to the newspaper.
The news of discontinuing printed Independent was published on the same day when its owner, Russian billionaire Evgeny Lebedev, confirmed that he would sell Independent for 24 million pounds to media company Johnston Press. (The Drum)
