I&f MCCANN GRUPA SPONSORS BITEF
The final preparations for the 51st Bitef are underway. It will be opened by Belgian theater artist Jan Fabr, and only with his voice, without stepping onto the stage of the Sava Center, because he insisted that nobody appears before the ensemble of his Olimp show which will open this year’s festival
This year’s Bitef festival is characterized by a record lasting plays. The festival opens with Olimp, a performance that lasts 24 hours, and before it, on 22 September, as an introduction to the festival, the Kvizula will be staged, which lasts a bit shorter – six hours. Accent of the main program is on the theater of the German speaking area.
Joining Bitef in the capacity of sponsors is the I&F McCann Grupa.
“In addition to being a symbol of Belgrade, Bitef has always been a symbol of some of the energy that exists here and which can connect certain things. When it was created, it connected the east and the west, and I think it can still link some threads that are maybe untied at this moment, and to make Belgrade again the center of the world, or at least of our part of the world, or even the world that is within us,” said Srđan Šaper, President of I&F McCann Grupa.
