THIRD DEADLINE TO SUBMIT CANDIDACIES FOR MEMBERSHIP IN HUOJ BODIES STARTS TODAY
At the 1st session of the election commission of HUOJ, the deadline for announcing the candidacy for membership in the HUOJ bodies was determine. The nominations are open from 11 to 19 September 2017 (midnight).
Pursuant to the Rulebook on Election into HUOJ bodies, potential candidates express their intention to nominate by electronic mail to the Election Commission ([email protected]) and the Secretary-General ([email protected]).
CROATIAN TELEKOM TO PRESENT NEW SPORTS TV SHOW, EXCLUSIVELY ON MAXTV
A unique media presentation will take place on Tuesday, 12 September 2017 at 19:00h in the special TV studio of MAXtv Television at the T-Center in Zagreb.
Editor and host Mila Horvat will present all the news from the world of sports and television in an informal conversation with her guests: celebrated tennis player Goran Ivanišević and director of marketing sector for private users at Croatian Telecom, Richard John Brešković.
WEBSI DAY, THE CROWN OF THE WEBSI INTERNET CHAMPIONS PROJECT
The entire WEBSI Internet Champions project, which promotes, rewards and archives the best Slovenian digital projects, will be completed on Friday, 15 September, with the WEBSI Day. The Slovenian digital communications festival brings together professionals and lovers of marketing, advertising, public relations and digital media by offering them professional content and time and space for new acquaintances and business opportunities
After the educational part of the event, there will be a gathering of all participants and the award of 19 prestigious WEBSI awards. They will go to the best entries selected by the jury of 75 members.
NEW GOOGLE CHROME IS HERE
Generally all web browsers, including Google Chrome which is still the most popular in the world, are constantly issuing new versions because users are becoming more demanding, and security aspects are not negligible. Thus, Google Chrome has released v. 61, which among other things guarantees patches for 22 security vulnerabilities that exist in previous versions. Already this fact is more than enough to install the latest stable version, or upgrade your existing web browser if you are a Chrome user.
Google has said that you will have a more comfortable work with the latest version, and optimization is better as well. The new Chrome will allow each web page to detect the current state of the working memory, in order to provide the user with the content that is appropriate to their computer. Google Chrome 61 also delivers native video controls, and it will better handle JavaScript…
The new Google Chrome is available for all desktop operating systems, Windows, MacOS, and Linux, and versions of Android and Chrome OS should roll out in a few days.
