L’OREAL AND DM CROATIA IN AN ENVIRONMENTAL CAMPIAGN
Recycling of plastic is a process of turning used plastic into reusable products, which lovers the sulfur dioxide emissions by one third, produces about 90% less waste and about 250% less carbon dioxide.
Recycling only one plastic bottle preserves the energy required for 6 hours of continuous work of a 60W lightbulb, while using recycled plastic to produce new one saves almost 88% of the energy needed for production. Because of these compelling statistics, everyday different ways are being developed to fit recycling into our everyday life. One of these ways is the quarterly initiative of L’Oreal and dm, during which customers can dispose of empty plastic cosmetic packaging of all manufacturers in the recycling boxes in dm stores, by which they receive a discount of 30% on products of the iconic brands of the L’Oréal Group.
FIRST WORKSHOP OF HOWTOWOW ACADEMY, TOMORROW
First workshop of this year’s HOWtoWOW academy, Decoding Creativity, will be held tomorrow, when Ravid Kuperberg, the grand inquisitor of the advertising industry, will strip creativity. It is believed that great creative ideas are those that disrupt the existing models of thinking. However, if viewed from another perspective, it is possible to discover that even behind the most creative ideas there are hidden codes and patterns that, when perfected, can motivate your team to create extremely creative, new and disruptive ideas.
Some of the most awarded ideas will be analyzed at this workshop, with the emphasis on those that have won the competitions at Cannes Lions Festival. The analysis will reveal recurring patterns of thinking that hold the key to the secret of successful and creative ideas and concepts.
You have just enough time to iron out your favorite shirt and your social skills (you will need them for networking), and to register, so hurry up and sign up.

ICONIC DRESS WHICH INSPIRED BIRTH OF GOOGLE IMAGE SEARCH NOW AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE
Although ‘daring’ is an epithet that can without doubt be used with any styling Jennifer Lopez chooses, one of her bravest looks was at the Grammy 2000 Music Awards, with a green, fluttering slit dress sliding across the neckline and belly all the way to her hips, which was proclaimed one of the ten most iconic dresses of all time.
Thanks to the brand Pretty Little Thing, style wise identical dress has been made available at a very affordable price.
17 years ago, J. Lo grabbed attention in the green Versace dress, which will remain recorded in fashion history for several reasons. Aside from being the main topic of conversation, as rarely any other gown until then, that dress was the reason why Google launched the popular Google image search, which was confirmed by one of Google’s executives, Eric Schmidt, two years ago.
GADGET MARKET WORTH 900 BILLION EUROS
Turnover in the global consumer electronics market this year will exceed 900 billion euros, which is about 4 percent more than last year, with global sales of small and large home appliances growing by 7 percent. These are the forecasts announced in Berlin ahead of the fair if consumer electronics, IFA.
Messe Berlin CEO Christian Goeke and IFA Executive Director Jens Heithecker stressed that they expect deals worth more than €4.5 billion will be made at the fair. “The world’s largest brands come to the IFA 2017, to showcase the latest trends and products, from very thin TV screens that are fitted on the walls or windows by magnets, through hi-fi music components with optimal sound to 360-degree cameras. There are also smart homes, a mini world from 3D printers, and the emphasis is on smart, innovative and connected energy efficient home appliances,” Goeke said. IFA is also important for the success, growth and development of the industry of small and large home appliances, which are no longer just ‘ordinary’, but they are smart refrigerators, dishwashers, mixers … Global sales (excluding North America) of these devices are expected to grow to about €230 billion this year. But the main driver is still mobile, because the ‘smartphone’ is becoming a ‘smart home’. Sales of such phones will grow to nearly 1.5 billion units this year.
