EXPEDITION TO MARS BY AGENCY M2COMMUNICATIONS IN THE FINALS OF THE PRESTIGIOUS CONVENTA BEST EVENT AWARD
The conceptual project “eXpedition to Mars”, created for the presentation of the latest BMW X3 model for Delta Motors, was in the finals of the prestigious regional competition for the best event – Conventa Best Event Award, in B2B and B2C categories.
The international jury made the shortlist in the very strong competition of regional projects, assessing not only the creativity and innovation of the idea but also the efficiency of transmitting a brand message that successfully surpasses the set marketing and business goals.
The award for “The Best Event of New Europe” will be awarded at Conventa Crossover 2018, which will be held on 30 and 31 August in Ljubljana.

FOUNDER OF BOOKING.COM HELPING STARTUPS IN BELGRADE
The Swiss entrepreneurship program this week in Belgrade hosted a well-known Dutch entrepreneur Jan Willem Smeenk, who will work with organizations and startups on the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Serbia through a series of mentoring sessions and open-type events.
Smeenk in his rich portfolio has a large number of successful companies and the best known among them is certainly www.Booking.com in which he was the founder and one of the first investors. He was engaged by the Dutch Government on the project of connecting the state of Tanzania to the Internet. He is founder and CEO of SODAQ, which produces high-end solutions for Internet of Things, with a special focus on Narrowband-IoT. They were the first company in the world to offer hardware development for this technology. Since the early 1980s, he has been active in the field of advanced technologies and is one of the pioneers of modern telecommunications.
