NEW CREATIVE DIRECTOR AT IMAGO OGILVY
One of the best known and most awarded advertising agencies in Croatia and the only Croatian agency with a Cannes Lion on its mantle has a new, female creative director.
Since last week, Mirka Modrinić, the first female creative director in the history of Imago, has joined the hunt for new Lions and innovative campaigns.
Mirka has left her mark in advertising through her many years of work at the position of regional creative director at Grey, and then in Digitel. Some of the best and most famous campaigns for Franck, which are retold even after ten years, wear her author’s signature.
In addition to experience in advertising agencies, Mirka also developed her creativity in PR, production, digital advertising, establishment of film festivals and other, which gives her the ability to approach campaigns through the synergy of various media.
For her work she has been awarded with more than 30 national and international awards and recognitions.
“Mirka came with the energy of a student, and knowledge and experience of a teacher. Her work stood out when it was the hardest to achieve that, in the golden age of Croatian advertising, when it was not easy to stand out because the average was very good. In any case, Mirka is the best woman creative director we ever had, because she is the first and only, and I look forward to seeing her prove that this is not the only reason why she is the best,” said Igor Mladinović, chief creative officer at Imago Ogilvy.

VEDRAN PERŠIĆ: JAZZ AND SBERBANK ARE A PERFECT COUPLE
Sberbank has signed a sponsorship agreement with the Sarajevo Jazz Fest and thus joined the circle of prestigious sponsors who have recognized the value of this Festival for Sarajevo and the popularization of jazz.
This was a cue for Art&Business magazine to talk with Vedran Peršić, Head of the Department of Marketing and Communications at Sberbank BH.
„ Jazz is an exceptionally creative, energetic, metropolitan and very diverse musical genre. And that’s how we see our bank, which makes jazz and Sberbank a perfect couple.
On the other hand, the Jazz Fest is a festival that brings together passionate and sincere music lovers. For 20 years it has been growing and attracting new audiences. So we decided to enter into this truly fantastic musical and artistic story – a story whose energy, enthusiasm and dedication are intertwined with the Sberbank story. We believe that we have a lot in common with the Jazz Fest audience and we want to reach out to them,“ Peršić told A&B in interview which you can read here.
