ENTRIES FOR TRADITIONAL UEPS AWARDS ARE OPEN UNTIL DECEMBER 3
Based on the experience of the previous competitions and suggestions made by members, this year UEPS (Association for Market Communications of Serbia) has once again redefined its categories, adapting them to the current trends and the needs of those who create it. The awards will be awarded in 16 categories, with subcategories, and will be awarded to organizations, companies, institutions and agencies for the highest quality and most creative solutions in the past year.
Special acknowledgments for best copy, best art direction, direction and best composed music, are included in the regular categories. In addition to awards by categories, the Grand Prix will be awarded at the ceremony, as well as the title of the Agency and Advertiser of the Year.
The award ceremony will be held as part of the celebration amid the UEPS Day.
Entries for the awards are open by December 3, 2018.

10TH PRILIKA CONFERENCE: COMMUNICATIONS THAT TRANSFORM THE FUTURE
What will the transformation of communication look like in the years to come, what will be the ethical issues and innovations, the experiences of the best foreign and domestic communicologists, all this will be presented at this year’s jubilee 10th PRilika Conference. The tenth gathering of professionals, under the theme The Art of Communication, will be held on November 22, 2018, at the Hilton Hotel in Belgrade, organized by the Serbian Public Relations Society.
Among the participants this year, the audience will have the opportunity to hear Tanja Tatomirović, communications officer for region that includes 24 countries and member of Forbes Communications Council, Barbara Krajnc, an experienced international consultant with a wealth of experience and certified LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® facilitator; Deniz Dulgeroglu, a senior copywriter in the largest Turkish independent advertising agency Rafineri, and Teodora Migdalovici, an international speaker and trainer who has participated in the world’s biggest marketing and communications events for the last 18 years, and the Cannes Lions Ambassador in Romania.
IAB ACADEMY: DIGITAL POTENTIALS OF 2019
To help you keep track of new trends and stay competitive in the next year, the next edition of the IAB Academy, its twelfth iteration that will be held on December 5, will unveil several digital potentials that will mark the year 2019.
Among other things, there will be talk of influencer marketing, programmatic advertising and video advertising that, despite the fact that they are increasingly talked about, still remain digital potentials for the coming year. A new directory will also be presented to the participants – the review of the Slovenian digital market. Other trends that will shape our future, and which will be discussed at the IAB Academy, will be revealed soon.
IAB Academy will be held Wednesday, December 5 from 13.00 to 16.00.
For members of IAB Slovenia, attendance is free, while non-members can pay a fee of 120 EUR + VAT to attend.
AGENCY M2 COMMUNICATIONS IS CONQUERING THE US
The award-winning concept of the eXpedition to Mars project, conceived for BMW Delta Motors by M2Communications, once again found itself in the finals of the world’s most prestigious competitions, this time in the extremely strong competition of the Special Events 2019 magazine in the USA.
Only a few European agencies, including M2Communications from Serbia, entered the narrow circle where they will compete for the awards for excellence in event organization with mostly US agencies.
The category in which the project was shortlisted is the Best Event produced for a corporation or association: overall budget under $100,000.
The Gala Award ceremony will be held on January 10, 2019 in San Diego, California.
MORE THAN 1.5 MILLION DINARS FOR WINNERS OF “SUPERSTE+” PROGRAM
This year’s “Superste” donation program of Erste Bank in Serbia ended with the “Superste plus” finals, intended for the veterans of the “Superste” community of young creatives, with presentation of winning projects: „Robox“, „Ja imam ideju!“, „Youth Innovation Center“ and „Mini Bookvica“. The winners received more than 1.5 million dinars for their projects.
The “Superste Plus” cycle was created as a special part of the “Superste” program, which brought the winners, finalists and semi-finalists of the previous seasons together, who joined forces, exchanged experiences and combined their work and talent with new ideas for improving the society they live in.
