DALI BUNGIČ TAKES THE LEAD AT LUNA\TBWA GROUP

Dali Bungič, director of communications agency Luna \ TBWA, in addition to her lead post at Luna \ TBWA, also took over the management of Omnicom Media Group Slovenia (OMG) and OMD Slovenia, and thus became director of the entire Luna \ TBWA Group. In addition to these agencies, the Luna\TBWA Group also includes the media agency PhD, which is still lead by Mateja Gramc Debeljak.

From now on, Luna\TBWA Group will act on the Slovenian market, and in the Adriatic region, in a more connected and unified manner. At that, its strategic development will continue to be built on the competent centers that specialize in the development of business and brand strategies, integrated communications and strategic planning and media buying. Such organization represents added value for Group’s clients, because integrated design and implementation of effective communications strategies that support the business objectives of the client requires specialist knowledge and integrated solutions.

“In Slovenia and the Adriatic region we are strengthening connections and transfer of knowledge and best practices both regionally and globally. Geographical, technological and any other differences, for a long time now don’t represent a limitation for mutual cooperation and common development of strategies, platforms and individual communication solutions for clients. I believe in the strength of connecting, knowledge and professional work. I am grateful because our clients recognize this and appreciate it, which is why we will continue to strengthen the culture of connectivity in the future,” Dali Bungič said.

Development of the agencies in the Adriatic region will still be the responsibility of Mitja Milavec.

CREATIVE WITH MORE THAN 60 CANNES LIONS TO PRESIDE BEST PRACTICE JURY AT GOLDEN DRUM

John Mescall, global executive creative director and president of McCann’s global creative council will chair this year’s Best Practice Jury at the 24th Golden Drum festival. John has won more than 60 Cannes Lions, including six Grand Prix, black and yellow D&AD Pencils, One Show Best of Show and numerous Clio, Spikes, LIA and Webby awards. In 2013, he was included in the annual list of Adweek’s 50 most influential creative thinkers and creators. Business Insider ranked him eighth on the list of most creative people in the world of advertising.

The jury for best practice recognizes and rewards complex creative achievements in communications, in groups such as Integrated, Activation programme, Branded content and Entertainment, Events, Public Relations, Media, Capture of local spirit, Innovative.

CAMPAIGN OR A PLATFORM? WHICH FORM OF DIGITAL COMMUNICATION TO CHOOSE?

Program of Play Media Day 02 will include the lecture of Mitja Jereb, an expert in digital communication from Slovenia. His topic, Campaign or a Platform? Which way makes more sense for digital promotion? will give answers to questions on which form of communication is more economical and more effective.

Digital communication involves daily changes and education. How to reduce stress of community manager business and which route to choose when it comes to digital channels?

How to find the right answers and solutions? Should you think of a campaign or invest in a platform? Mitja will present the differences between digital campaigns and digital platforms, trends in digital marketing, selection of the most modern marketing approach to digital platforms, the key steps in the creative process of digital agencies, as well as a selection of case studies.

Mitja Jereb is currently Strategy Manager at the digital agency Renderspace, which is part of the Pristop group.
