BRUMEN GRAND PRIX AWARDED TO A SERIES OF POSTERS BY NEJC PRAH

At the 8th Biennale of Slovenian design Brumen, the Grand Prix was awarded to a series of posters for the Koordinate zvuka music events, designed by Nejc Prah, and photographed by Klemen Ilovar.

At this year’s Brumen Biennale, 392 projects were entered, of which the International Biennial Jury selected 90 to feature in the Biennale. Describing the winning series of posters for the monthly music events organized by musician Žiga Murko, the jury wrote it is a “fearless, crazy, technically diverse, surprising blend of ideas that are fused in rich details into a truly original and unique design message.” And every single one of the posters from the series is extraordinary! They are designed in a multi-level fashion that encourages the public to interact with them. The graphics are not just well-balanced and eye catching, but appeal to a whole new way of communicating.

The program is organized by the Croatian Association of Communications Agencies (HURA) and was attended by 27 participants who learned in October how they can strengthen their own, but also agency skills in implementing self-regulation.

Along with Ana Rački Marinković, deputy director of the Croatian Institute of Intellectual Property, lectures were also given by Kamilo Antolović, the first permanent court expert witness for advertising and market communications in Croatia and a member of the Court of Honor of HURA, Jakša Barbić, a long-time full professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, and Melita Bestvina, president of the Croatian Society of Judicial Expertise and Assessors. Participants of the education assessed almost all lecturers with excellent grades, and praised the program as professional, inspirational and useful.

In the coming days, attendees will take the final exam, after which the best will enter the unique months-long mentoring program with the Croatian Society of Judicial Expertise and Assessors (HDSVIP), whose aim is to increase the number of court experts for market communications.
