302 WORKS IN COMPETITION FOR AWARDS AT 25TH SLOVENIAN ADVERTISING FESTIVAL
Agencies, production companies and advertisers have applied a total of 302 works in thirteen competition categories of this year’s Slovenian Advertising Festival – SOF (7 and 8 April 2016), which is a quarter less than last year when 408 works entered the competition. Council of the competition program of SOF is satisfied with the number of entries in the new competitive group ON SOF, which recognizes craft excellence in communications.
Among the most important novelties of this year’s competition part are refreshed groups Print and Posters, Digital Communication, Ambient Advertising and Design, as well as two completely new groups: Social Good and ON SOF.
The winners of the 25th SOF will be known on Friday, 8 April, when the award ceremony will be held in Portorož.
COMMUNIS HAS A NEW CEO
Marketing agency Communis has a new CEO. Bojan Stankov was appointed to this post, who is part of the agency for more than 11 years. In addition to her current post as Digital Creative Manager, Lea Stanković will take over the responsibilities of vice CEO. (Read more…)

iPHONE 7 BRINGS A REVOLUTIONARY NOVELTY
A leading analyst of Apple’s future plans, Ming Chi-Kuo, claims that the new iPhone 7 will have dual camera technology, which would allow iPhone photography with full quality of a DSLR camera, N1 reported.
But that novelty would also mean something else – most likely this will come with the larger, 5.5-inch iPhone Plus.
Chi-Kuo of KGI Securities was so far fairly good in predicting what Apple intends to issue, so he can be trusted.
Apple is preparing to announce its new model in September, and after it there could be a complete change of design with iPhone 8.
