21st SEMPL: There’s no place for magic in the comfort zone

How to prepare clients to think completely differently, and raise their company to a whole new level of doing business?

“There’s no place for magic in the comfort zone,” says consultant, speaker and bestselling author, Jonathan MacDonald, one of the long-awaited speakers of the 21st SEMPL media conference, which will be held on November 28 and 29 at the Bernardin Hotel in Portoroz.

According to the organizers, SEMPL will host around 1300 enthusiasts in the field of media, marketing, sales, public relations, advertising and new technologies. Early registrations are already available for those who want to get out of their comfort zone in the company of outstanding speakers, and with an exceptional selection of current topics and trends.

One of the main speakers that SEMPL will bring is the consultant, speaker and bestselling author, Jonathan MacDonald. According to him, his mission is to spread a special way of thinking: “One of the fascinating things in life is that everything that happens, including our perception of reality, is controlled by our way of thinking. Everything we do, all the habits we have, every conversation we have, every relationship we build, every company for which we’re creating a strategy, all of it comes from thinking. If we understand that everything comes from the way we think, then we can understand more easily that this is where our success or failure comes from.”

Participants at SEMPL this November will find out how to prepare clients to think completely differently, and raise their company to a whole new level of doing business. Examples of successful stories with companies such as Microsoft, Google, Heineken, IKEA, and the Ministry of Sound will encourage attendees to get out of their comfort zone where, as MacDonald says, there is no place for magic: “There is no place for magic in the comfort zone. Comfort traps us, and we continue to do things the same way, and at the same time expect different results. That’s the definition of insanity. The only way to succeed is to get rid of these flaws and try to experiment, test, learn, and improve with the desire to grow.”

What else we can expect at this year’s SEMPL? Conference president Valerija Prevolšek says: “We love the scent of the sea, the hum of the waves and the most beautiful view of the Piran bay, and that is why we invite you once again to the coast where we will impress you once more. We currently have verified speakers from seven countries, and we will touch on the trends discussed at all the world’s largest communications events.”

So, on November 28 and 29 in Portorož, you will have the opportunity to discover the latest media-communication trends.
