The 13th Plaktivat competition on the topic of Solidarity is open

TAM-TAM Institute is announcing a new competition in city poster design. The thirteenth Plaktivat competition is centred on the topic of SOLIDARITY. At a time of growing conflicts between people of opposing views and lifestyles, which are further bolstered by populisms, radicalisms, the media, and all manner of algorithms, our previous definition of solidarity is being tested. If we add to this the extremely individualised nature of our society, which all too often prioritises the individual and their personal freedom over the interests of the community, the social consensus upon which solidarity is based is in peril.

Take part and help highlight the issue through the medium of the poster. Submissions are open until and including 9 February 2021, and the poster with the winning idea will be published at 500 TAM-TAM billboard locations across Slovenia and entered in competition portions of the Slovenian Advertising Festival (SOF) and the Brumen Biennial of Slovenian Design. Our invitation is extended to independent designers, students, secondary school students of graphic arts, as well as advertising agencies. Participation is free.
