Proper posture is key to a healthy spine! However, just because we’re standing upright doesn’t mean we’re standing correctly. According to data from the Croatian Institute of Public Health, spinal problems are increasingly common among children and young people, and the consequences can be long-lasting. It’s time to pay attention to the signals our body is sending us. That’s why Croatia Polyclinic, with the help of the agency Bruketa&Žinić&Grey and Go2Digital, launched the campaign “Straighten Up!” where all citizens can check their posture for free using interactive BodyScan screens set up in eight Croatian cities.

“The spine is the foundation of our body – it supports posture, enables movement, and protects the spinal cord, which is essential for nervous system function. However, a sedentary lifestyle and lack of physical activity lead to poor posture and are becoming a growing problem in modern life. Most people don’t even realize that this can cause premature degenerative changes in the spine and serious complications. Fortunately, timely diagnostics can prevent such issues, which is the main goal of this campaign,” emphasized Dr. Tamara Kauzlarić-Živković, specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Croatia Polyclinic.

“Our goal is to encourage people to pay attention to their posture, but also to demonstrate how innovative technologies can be essential in prevention and education. Thanks to the interactive BodyScan screens, all citizens can quickly and easily check their posture and receive helpful guidance for improving their spinal health,” added Maja Tucaković, Marketing Director at Croatia Polyclinic.

The campaign runs until the end of March, and participants have the chance to win a free physiatrist exam or a voucher for 20% off a check-up of their choice at Croatia Polyclinics across the country.

“We often don’t realize how just one glance at a screen can change our awareness of our health. That’s why we wanted to create a visual reminder that would prompt people to take action,” said Davor Bruketa, Creative Director at Bruketa&Žinić&Grey.

“A key location of the campaign is the SkyTower near Avenue Mall in Zagreb, where a screen displays real-time data from all other interactive locations in Croatia, showing where posture problems are most common. It’s a reminder of why we all need to get involved in this initiative,” said Dean Udatny, Marketing Director at Go2Digital.

Don’t ignore your spine- visit one of the BodyScan screens in Zagreb, Varaždin, Rijeka, Osijek, Split, Zadar, Pula, or Koprivnica, and take the first step toward healthier posture!

Don’t forget – the campaign runs until the end of the month. #StraightenUp
