Today, we bring you an exclusive interview with Nebojša Rosić and Matija Vučković, the creators of the Game Changer platform, born from a desire to bring together creatives, tech enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, and all those who want to understand the future and actively participate in shaping it.
The first event was held in Zagreb in December 2022, and in just two years, it has grown into the fastest-growing regional platform promoting new technologies and their human applications through conferences, festivals, exhibitions, awards, and educational programs.
More than 10 events have been held in Zagreb, Ljubljana, and Tivat, attended by over ten thousand visitors and supported by dozens of companies and institutions aligned with Game Changer’s mission. This year, the platform expands to include Game Changer London and Game Changer Venice as permanent destinations.

Nebojša and Matija speak about the past, present, and future of this unique platform.

Media Marketing: How did it all begin? Were you aware from day one that you were building a platform, not just another conference?

Nebojša Rosić

Nebojša Rosić: Honestly, we knew we wanted to create something completely different. Not just another tech conference, but a meeting place for people who think, question, and create. Game Changer was born out of a need to connect creatives, tech enthusiasts, the startup community, corporate visionaries, designers, and researchers… all those who want to shape the future rather than passively observe it.

Matija Vučković: The first event in Zagreb, in December 2022, was a true little adventure. A lot of improvisation, but also an incredible energy in the air. That’s when I felt we had ignited a spark that could grow into something bigger. Today, just over two years later, we have a platform bringing together thousands of people from across the region – a huge confirmation that we’re on the right path. And honestly, it’s only the beginning.

Matija Vućković

Media Marketing: It sounds like it all exploded overnight. In your opinion, what’s the reason for such rapid growth?

Matija: Authenticity. I think the key is authenticity. People can sense when something is done out of passion, not just calculation. We don’t care about glamour or red carpets — what matters more are honest conversations and openness. Game Changer doesn’t divide people by titles or company size, but brings together those who share values, passion, and a desire to contribute to the community. That’s what excites me most – that we’re building a community where everyone feels accepted and inspired.

Nebojša: Exactly. People come because they feel like they belong to something meaningful. We don’t just talk about technology – we talk about responsibility, emotion, aesthetics… about how to remain human in a rapidly digitizing world. That’s why we create programs where architects talk to developers, and designers engage with regulators. No comfort zones – only meeting zones.

Media Marketing: Why the name “Game Changer”? It sounds ambitious.

Nebojša: It is. But it needs to be. The name carries a message: we don’t settle for the status quo. We believe every individual, regardless of their position, can be a driver of change. Whether you’re a young startup looking for your place, or a corporation seeking to stay relevant – Game Changer is a space for learning, connecting, and shifting perspectives.

Matija: It’s also important to mention that Game Changer isn’t reserved for the “tech elite” – it’s for everyone who has questions, ideas, and a desire to make a change, even if it’s a small one.

Media Marketing: What’s next? We know you’re planning London…

Matija: Yes! And I’m especially excited about it! This year we’re taking it a step further — to the legendary ICA – Institute of Contemporary Arts in London, a place that has been at the heart of avant-garde in art, philosophy, and architecture since 1946. And now, for the first time, a tech conference from our part of Europe will be held there. It’s a big moment for me personally.
But London is just one part of this year’s story. In early July, we’re organizing a large summer tech festival in Tivat, Montenegro – which I particularly love for its relaxed energy and the way it brings together people from across the region and Europe by the sea. In September, we move to Venice – a city that is inspiring in itself — and in October we return to Zagreb, where it all began. The tour wraps up in Ljubljana at the end of November. Each location brings a new audience, different vibes, and added motivation to keep pushing boundaries.

Nebojša: Game Changer London is set for May 8, 2025. We’ll gather over 350 attendees, 35+ speakers, across two parallel stages — right in the heart of London. Even in its first edition, Game Changer London will host exceptional speakers and representatives of global companies such as Amazon, Deliveroo, WIZ, NatWest Bank, and many others, in an incredibly inspiring meeting of ideas, visions, and futures.

Media Marketing: Looking back – what would you say is your greatest success so far?

Matija: That we didn’t just create a conference  we built a community. People who come back and believe in what we’re doing. They don’t come just for information, but for inspiration and a sense of belonging.

Nebojša: And that we’re not afraid to experiment. We’ve held events in Zagreb, Ljubljana, Tivat – now we’re going to London and Venice. Each location has its own energy and story. But the values remain the same: openness, responsibility, the joy of creating.

Media Marketing: Where do you see Game Changer in five years?

Matija: I’d love for Game Changer to become synonymous with a space where technology, art, and society come together -not just at conferences, but also in schools, at festivals, in cities. Still as a platform that shares the same ideas and values.

Nebojša: We see Game Changer as a place where global ideas meet local contexts and vice versa. A platform that belongs to no single market – because it belongs to everyone who believes in the power of shared change. Perhaps a movement that connects innovation, culture, and responsibility across the world. In any case, it will be a space where the future isn’t something we wait for – but something we shape together. Always a spark of change. The future isn’t prewritten. We write it together.
