The eighth edition of this prestigious competition, under the sponsorship of the Branding Conference and organized by the Via Media agency, will take place on April 16 in Sarajevo. Team applications for two young professionals under the age of 30 are open until April 11, 2025.

The 22nd PRO.PR Conference will kick off the conference season and will be held at Hotel Katarina (Selce, Croatia) from April 3 to April 6, 2025. The conference, themed “Leadership in Communication,” will feature top business elites from the region as speakers.
- Days of Communication & 34th SOF
In May, the Days of Communication and the Slovenian Advertising Festival (SOF) will take place simultaneously, starting on May 15, in Rovinj (Croatia) and Portorož (Slovenia), respectively.
Since the advertising industry in the region is interconnected, with agencies and advertisers working across borders, it’s puzzling why HURA (Croatian Association of Market Communication Agencies) and SOZ (Slovenian Advertising Chamber) couldn’t coordinate to hold the festivals on different dates. Surely, some agencies and advertisers would like to attend both events. In today’s digital era, where all information is readily available, such scheduling conflicts should be avoided. Even industry associations should attend both festivals to stay updated on regional trends and developments.- Grand PRix HUOJ Finalists Showcase
On Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 9:30 AM, at Indigo Wespa Spaces (Zavrtnica 17, Zagreb), all finalists of the Grand PRix HUOJ Awards will be presented.
This year, 65 communication projects were submitted, and 33 projects made it to the final round. The authors will present their projects to convince the jury that they deserve the award.The finalists’ communication projects are divided into nine categories:
- Grand PRix for Public Relations in Croatian public institutions, international organizations in Croatia, and EU institutions.
- Grand PRix for Public Relations in associations and NGOs.
- Grand PRix for Public Relations in small and medium-sized enterprises.
- Grand PRix for Corporate Social Responsibility.
- Grand PRix for Internal Communication.
- Grand PRix for Political Communication.
- Grand PRix for Event Organization and Communication.
- Grand PRix for Digital Communication, Social Media, and AI-Assisted Communication.
- Grand PRix for Integrated Campaigns.
- B&Ž&G Afterwork Party

- Game Changer London
Midweek, I received a call from Nebojša Rosić, partner at Game Changer London, who suggested a video call to introduce me to the company and discuss potential collaboration.
Since I’ll be in Zagreb on Friday, Matija Vušković, CEO of Wolf Media Zagreb, joined the conversation. We scheduled a coffee meeting at Canopy by Hilton on Friday.- World News
Meta is about to launch a major initiative—its community-based content moderation program, Community Notes, goes live this week. Also launching is a new media company by the independent agency BarkleyOKRP, with ad reservations worth one billion dollars.
Another big launch comes from Scope3, introducing an AI-powered brand safety and ad verification tool. While it’s hard to get excited about yet another ad-tech product, this one positions Scope3 as a competitor to established brand safety firms like DoubleVerify and IAS.
