I proposed to Maestro Lipanović to take on the role of Artistic Director of Advertissimo for the next three years, and he gladly accepted.

On Thursday evening, January 16, 2025, the Sarajevo Philharmonic will perform the first Media Marketing concert for agencies, advertisers, and media professionals at the Sarajevo National Theatre. The orchestra will be conducted by Maestro Ivo Lipanović, undoubtedly the finest conductor in the region today, with pianist Ruben Dalibaltayan as the soloist. The program features two masterpieces of world classical music:

  • Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky – Piano Concerto No. 1 in B-flat minor, Op. 23
  • Antonín Dvořák – Symphony No. 9 in E minor, Op. 95, From the New World

Before the concert begins, Media Marketing will announce a donation of a master violin crafted by the renowned luthiers of Cremona, Italy, to the Sarajevo Philharmonic. This violin will symbolically serve as the “cornerstone” for the renewal of the orchestra’s entire instrument fund.

Dunja Ivana Ballon, Director of the Croatian Association of Agencies for Market Communication, stated:
“Advertissimo is a refreshing reminder of how powerful an ally art can be to the creative industry. For me personally, it’s a fascinating idea and project – something entirely new, fresh, and exciting. Such initiatives are rare not just in our region but on the international scene as well. Combining classical music with advertising is a bold step that opens space for innovation, inspiration, and collaborations that redefine the rules of the game.”

Yesterday, I had the privilege of hosting a lunch with the Director of the Sarajevo Philharmonic, Vedran Tuce, Maestro Ivo Lipanović, and soloist Ruben Dalibaltayan. The positive energy among them is almost unbelievable, and I got the impression that they are all eagerly anticipating the concert.

I proposed to Maestro Lipanović that he become Advertissimo’s Artistic Director for the next three years, and he accepted with enthusiasm. Among other things, we discussed securing the participation of a major global star of classical music for the next concert in a year, as the communication industry deserves such highlights.

If you haven’t yet decided whether to attend the concert, now is the time to do so. Tickets are still available and can be purchased at the National Theatre box office, which will be open on Thursday from 9:00 to 11:30 AM and from 4:30 PM until the concert starts at 8:00 PM.

Visit www.advertissimo.ba to learn more about this unique concert.

Be part of the beginning of a great project. Everyone who buys a ticket for the concert will be able to retain the same seat in the coming years. We’ll know who came and where they sat.

Come to see your colleagues from the communication industry – and let them see you!
