“It’s Time to Stop and End Violence”, a campaign created by the Via Media agency for Bingo Group, is gaining more supporters and broader recognition by the hour.

To recap: On International Women’s Day, March 8, 2025, from 10:00 to 10:30, more than 230 Bingo stores across Bosnia and Herzegovina will halt operations. Operations will also stop at Dita, Pivara Tuzla, Ingram, Kaletex, Duka, the Pasta Factory, the Paper Factory, as well as Bingo Farm and all other manufacturing companies within Bingo Group, with over 9,000 employees.

They will pause their work to draw attention to the unequal status of women in society, politics, workplaces, and families, as well as to the physical violence and sexual abuse that women often endure.

While Bingo Group stops, they are calling on all citizens to join in and support the Initiative to include femicide in the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the Initiative for a new Law on Protection from Domestic Violence in the Republic of Srpska.

Advertisimo, the Media Marketing concert performed by the Sarajevo Philharmonic, which was first held on January 16, 2025, will take place next year on February 20. The concert will be dedicated to women in the communication industry. And so, every year moving forward, as a long-term commitment to the project “Let’s Stop and End Violence”.

Violence against women is not a problem that can be solved overnight. It will take years to change the mindset of men who still see women primarily as sexual objects, bargaining chips in male transactions, or targets to exert physical strength.

To initiate change, everyone must contribute in their own way. Signing a petition to include femicide in the Criminal Code? YES. But without a shift in mindset, laws alone will be of little help.

To join the growing movement under the umbrella of Bingo Group, this morning we decided that the Advertisimo concert on February 20, 2026, will be dedicated to women in the communication industry across the Adriatic region.

More details will be announced soon.

Bingo and Via Media – that’s our start!
