Jury of BalCannes, regional contest for advertising agencies, yesterday started assessing the 120 entries submitted by 55 agencies. The regional jury, composed of 25 experts coming from advertisers, agencies and media, will select 25 best projects in the region, and the best among them will win awards – the unique BalCannes Lions.
Thanks to this year’s unique concept of the magazine, at BalCannes, for the first time we will have the opportunity to see separate selections of the top 25 projects, according to the opinion of advertisers, agencies and the media, which will offer an interesting insight into the thinking of each of the three parts of the jury.
The winners will be announced at the 10th Weekend Media Festival in Rovinj, where they will have the opportunity to personally present their best projects to numerous advertisers and festival audience on Friday, 22 September, starting at 16:45hrs in the main hall of the festival.
Upon completion of the festival, all projects will be published in the BalCannes Yellow Pages, a regional agency database accessible to advertisers throughout the year, which they can use as a tool in selecting the agency that will provide them the best marketing support.
