Kristen Bell is the new global face of L’Oréal Paris

The new global ambassador takes control of her own introduction, as the brand shifts its most famous slogan toward the idea that worth should not be determined by someone else.

Before someone else can explain who she is, Kristen Bell decides to do it herself. In her first video for L’Oréal Paris, the actress and producer takes control of her own introduction, moving between polished shots and everyday, less polished moments. It is precisely on this contrast that the brand has built her introduction as its new global ambassador and a new interpretation of the message You’re Worth It.

Rather than giving the slogan a new formulation, what changes is the person who determines its meaning. The campaign’s idea starts from the premise that worth is not something a brand should assign to a woman, but something she already possesses and has the right to define for herself. Bell therefore does not enter the communication simply as a famous face for the products. Her role begins with taking control of the story being told about her.

L’Oréal Paris describes this approach as connecting beauty with the everyday choice of one’s own identity. According to brand representatives, Bell was chosen for her combination of confidence, humor and authenticity, qualities through which they want to continue developing a platform built around self-worth and women’s right to decide for themselves how they will present themselves to others.

Bell also emphasized that her connection with L’Oréal Paris did not begin with this ambassadorship. She recalled how, as a little girl, she would secretly take her mother’s L’Oréal Paris lipstick and try it on for a few minutes before her mother caught her. Today, she describes that moment less as playing with makeup and more as one of her first explorations of her own identity.

The partnership will not be limited to a single film. As a global ambassador, Bell will appear in the brand’s communications and campaigns across skincare, haircare, hair color and makeup. Her first campaign will be for 24H Midnight Cream, with its launch in the US market beginning in the coming weeks.

Bell thus joins the brand’s portfolio of ambassadors at a moment when L’Oréal Paris is seeking to keep one of the beauty industry’s most recognizable slogans familiar while giving it a more contemporary perspective. You’re Worth It in her first appearance does not function as validation a woman receives from the brand. It becomes a sentence she says herself, after first taking the right to tell her own story.
