With more consumers relying on AI platforms like ChatGPT and Gemini for information and product suggestions, Symmetri aims to give brands more control over how they’re represented. The nine-month-old startup has secured $6 million in seed funding to build a suite of AI agents that help companies manage brand data, boost visibility on AI interfaces, identify new customers, and run loyalty programs.
Many companies remain stuck in “AI pilot purgatory,” experimenting with limited initiatives without moving to large-scale impact. Symmetri, however, presents itself as a fully AI-native, enterprise-grade solution. Rather than layering AI onto outdated processes, the startup introduces specialized agents that manage marketing tasks from start to finish.
These agents are designed to boost visibility in AI-powered search through Answer Engine Optimization, improve targeting with predictive segmentation, and fine-tune content specifically for large language models. They also coordinate campaigns in real time across networks of agents and strengthen customer loyalty with adaptive personalization. The idea is simple: marketers focus on strategy, while Symmetri’s agents take care of execution at scale.
Symmetri envisions a future in which AI agents, digital systems that act on behalf of humans, become embedded across every sector of the economy, from commerce and finance to legal and marketing. According to Steven Wolfe Pereira, the company’s chief growth officer, the shift is already underway: “Today, you already see brands struggling because traffic is not coming from Google searches anymore, and the consumer experience has been already radically transformed where it starts with an LLM; How do brands prepare for this agentic world? That’s where we come in with this view of data first to really power what we really believe is a learning system.”
Symmetri’s founding team brings experience from the enterprise software and data technology space, with members who have previously built and sold companies to major players like Microsoft and Oracle. Looking ahead, the company plans to channel significant investment into engineering to solidify its leadership in the emerging AI agent economy. By combining a low subscription model with seamless integration into widely used enterprise tools, Symmetri aims to equip brands with the tools they need to compete and thrive in the new era of machine-to-machine marketing.
Symmetri’s cofounders include enterprise software veterans Pereira (former CMO of Datalogix, acquired by Oracle), Tom Chavez (former CEO of Habu, acquired by LiveRamp), Vivek Vaidya (former CTO of Rapt, acquired by Microsoft, and later CTO of Habu), Jeremy Micley, and Jed Putterman.
