Infront Sports & Media, one of the world’s leading sports management companies, has taken over Magenta 1 B2B RUN, the first business race in Croatia that has become the largest business gathering in the industry over the years.
Along with the B2B RUN race series held in four of the largest Croatian cities, this deal also includes the takeover of the first B2B RUN race in Bosnia and Herzegovina, held last year in Sarajevo. With this move, Infront announces a significant expansion of its B2Run business races to Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will join the big world business races held in Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, South Africa, Poland and Switzerland.
“Looking to expand B2Run to Croatia through this acquisition represents a major milestone for us. We can see that Vetturelli has done a great work in the last few years and we are convinced that under the B2Run brand and thanks to the expertise of Swim Bike Run Sports, the Croatian running series will grow even bigger,” said Lars Gerling, director of Infront B2Run.
Business event Magenta 1 B2B RUN was launched by the team from Vetturelli d.o.o. about three years ago. Over the years, the race has grown considerably in all segments – from the number of cities, sponsors and race partners, to the number of companies and individual participants.

In agreement with Infront, future organization of the event will be the responsibility of the Swim Bike Run Sport company, whose founders have so far participated in the organization of various sports events such as IRONMAN, European University Games, Tour of Croatia, Pannonian Challenge, Wings for Life World Run, Red Bull Air Race, Poreč Beach Majors. Taking over Magenta 1 B2B RUN proved to be a logical step in their business.

Magenta 1 B2B RUN will be held this year in Split, Rijeka, Osijek, Zagreb, Sarajevo under the existing B2B RUN brand. Already next season, in 2019, the races will be organized as part of the Infront World Series of B2Run corporate races, with the goal of strengthening their international presence.
