One of the world’s most influential copywriters Alex Cattoni is to speak at Dani komunikacija in Rovinj

At Dani komunikacija she will present an approach to copywriting that treats communication as a strategic tool for building a brand, rather than merely a creative addition to campaigns.

At a time when audiences receive thousands of marketing messages every day, the question of trust and clarity in communication is becoming increasingly important for brands. This topic will be explored as part of the programme of this year’s Dani komunikacija, taking place from May 7 to 10 in Rovinj, where Alex Cattoni, one of the world’s leading experts in copywriting and digital communication, will appear among the international speakers.

Cattoni is known in the global marketing community for her approach that treats copywriting as a strategic brand tool rather than simply a creative element of a campaign. She is the founder of the educational platform The Copy Posse, which brings together more than 500,000 marketing professionals, content creators and entrepreneurs, and her work has been recognised by Forbes and Foundr.

She began her professional career at Mindvalley, where as Creative Director she participated in campaigns that significantly contributed to the company’s revenue growth. Later, through her own projects and the launch of multimillion-dollar brands, she built a reputation as one of the most influential educators in the field of digital copywriting. DigitalMarketer named her DigitalMarketer of the Year in 2022.

At the conference she will present The REPEL Method, an approach to building communication that focuses on message clarity and a precisely defined audience. The method is based on the idea that strong communication does not attempt to reach everyone, but instead attracts the right audience while filtering out those for whom the brand is not intended.

Through the analysis of concrete examples of communication from major brands, Cattoni will demonstrate how headlines, subject lines and key messages can change the perception of an offer and encourage purchase decisions. Particular focus will be placed on the language of communication – from choosing stronger verbs and removing unnecessary words to articulating a clear and confident communication angle.

Alongside Cattoni, a number of international experts from the fields of technology, strategy and creativity will also take the main stage of the conference. Among them are Jürgen Schmidhuber, a pioneer of modern artificial intelligence; Julie Supan, a brand strategist who contributed to the development of brand strategies for platforms such as YouTube, Airbnb, Dropbox, Reddit and Discord; strategist Mark Pollard; creative mentor Chris Do; sonic branding expert Steve Keller; and digital marketing expert Neil Patel.

Dani komunikacija once again brings together international speakers from the fields of marketing, the creative industries and technology, continuing to position Rovinj as a regional meeting point for the communications industry.
