On Wednesday, the streaming giant Netflix unveiled a bold preview of its upcoming slate of shows, films, and live events under the banner “What Next?”. The campaign, titled Discover Your Future, was developed by Netflix’s in-house Brand Creative Studio in collaboration with Wieden+Kennedy Portland, and uses tarot-card symbolism to hint at both new and returning titles arriving next year.
In the high-energy hero film, Teyana Taylor appears as a tarot reader leading an unsuspecting woman through glimpses of her immediate future – one that sees her pulled, quite literally and with acrobatic flair, into Netflix’s upcoming slate. What begins as a routine bodega coffee stop quickly transforms into a surreal, imaginative journey, serving as a metaphor for the Netflix viewing experience in 2026.
Beyond the film itself, the campaign extends into a custom-designed tarot deck featuring Netflix’s 2026 titles, alongside digital experiences and influencer-led activations. Creative collaborators on the project, in addition to W+K, include Los York, Prettybird, Electric Theatre Collective, and ExtraCredit.
The campaign will also come to life offline, with a two-day activation at New York’s Grand Central Station on January 12–13. Fans will be invited to step inside a towering booth and receive personalised “future readings” from an animatronic version of Teyana Taylor in her tarot-reader role.
The launch also serves as a moment for Netflix to lift the curtain on fresh details from its 2026 slate, spanning returning series, new original shows and feature films – reinforcing just how full the year ahead is shaping up to be.
