Creative, digital, PR, media, event and other communications agencies in Croatia can express their interest in membership of the Croatian Association of Communications Agencies (HURA) for 2027 by 20 October. Decisions on the admission of new members will be made at the autumn Assembly, which will take place in November at the Grand Park Hotel in Rovinj.
The deadline allows interested agencies to hold consultations before the Assembly, familiarise themselves with the membership criteria and obtain information about the application process. Expressing interest is therefore the first step in the process, while the decision on membership rests with the Assembly.
The new cycle follows several years of growth for the association, which now brings together a record 66 agencies. The expansion of its membership is accompanied by a more diverse mix of agencies within HURA, whose work includes representing their interests, developing professional standards, education and international cooperation.
For agencies, membership provides access to educational programmes, expert content and resources through the HURA Intelligence Hub, as well as research, information and initiatives from international industry networks. It also includes benefits and financial savings, along with opportunities to participate in groups addressing specific issues related to agency operations and the development of the communications market.
Alongside working groups and education, the association’s activities include the Dani komunikacija festival and industry competitions that recognise creativity, effectiveness and quality of work. Cooperation with European and international organisations also gives members access to information on regulatory changes, as well as research and practices relevant to their operations.
The contact for additional information about membership is Maja Baumschabel, whom interested agencies can reach at maja.baumschabel@hura.hr.
