Helping a friend, sharing a snack or standing up for someone who needs support most often remain within the classroom. With the Rewarding Kindness campaign, Intersnack Adria wants to find precisely such actions and show how one good deed by a child can inspire the next.
The campaign by Pom-Bär is intended for students across Croatia, but stories can be submitted to the competition exclusively by teachers and other school staff. The campaign is looking for examples in which children’s empathy, solidarity or care for others did not remain an isolated gesture, but influenced other students or changed the atmosphere within the school community.
Three stories and their young heroes will be selected from the submissions. Their good deeds will then be presented to the public in short videos, with the aim of encouraging other children to take similar actions through concrete examples from school life.

The campaign ambassador is Domagoj Jakopović Ribafish, who sees its purpose precisely in recognizing everyday situations that adults can easily overlook. Helping a friend, sharing one’s belongings or showing understanding can, in his words, change someone’s day, as well as relationships across an entire classroom.
Members of the public do not participate in selecting the stories, but support the campaign by purchasing Pom-Bär products. Part of the campaign model is linked to establishing a fund from which the children whose stories are selected will be rewarded.
The campaign for consumers runs from August 17 to November 30, while schools can submit stories about good deeds from September 1 to 30. The search will cover all of Croatia, and the three selected examples will have the opportunity to move from school hallways into the public eye.
