Karmen Škoda Piško is an executive director of the insurance company Adriatic Slovenica. She plays golf once a week and says that she truly enjoys it every time.
Media Marketing: Why and when did you decide to play golf?
Karmen Škoda Piško: Two years ago. Why? A couple of colleagues and I agreed we would take an extended weekend in the middle of the warm summer and take golfing classes. It was about socializing and a new challenge. :)
Media Marketing: What is it that golf has and other sports don’t?
Karmen Škoda Piško: Relaxation in nature and good company.
Media Marketing: How are you progressing? How far have you gone?
Karmen Škoda Piško: Not very far. I don’t play very often, but I truly enjoy it every time.
Media Marketing: How much time every week do you dedicate to golf?
Karmen Škoda Piško: During warmer months, once a week.
Media Marketing: Have you participated in some tournaments?
Karmen Škoda Piško: Of course. I vividly remember the first tournament of insurance companies here. It was over 30 degrees Celsius outside. The company was better than excellent, and I was the only representative of the fairer sex. :)
Media Marketing: Do you follow golf on TV?
Karmen Škoda Piško: Not very often.
Media Marketing: Would you advise others to pick up a golf club?
Karmen Škoda Piško: Of course. Golf is a really good relaxation, intimate experience of nature and pleasant socializing.
