How AI Can Be Used to Improve Data Analysis

AI not only accelerates the analysis of large volumes of data but also enables more informed decision-making, process optimization, and the discovery of valuable insights that would otherwise remain hidden.

In today’s digital age, the volume of generated data is growing exponentially. Traditional data analysis methods are often not efficient enough to process and interpret large data sets (big data). Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly becoming a key tool in enhancing data analysis, enabling faster, more accurate, and deeper insights, writes Excel expert Luka Kobeščak in his analysis.

Automation and Predictive Analytics
One of the primary ways AI enhances data analysis is through process automation. By using machine learning algorithms, systems can identify patterns and trends in data without the need for explicit programming. For example, AI can analyze customer data to predict consumer behavior, personalize offers, or optimize marketing strategies.
AI also enables predictive analytics – the ability to forecast future events based on historical data. In financial institutions, such models are used to assess credit risk, detect fraud, and make investment decisions.

How AI Helps in Business Education – as Highlighted by Kobeščak’s Example
“We use artificial intelligence a lot, especially when creating spreadsheets for training sessions, because we used to spend a lot of hours just coming up with names, cities, and so on. Now, with AI, it’s done in a matter of seconds. I believe this isn’t the future anymore—it’s already the present. We simply need to start consuming what technology offers us and make the most of it in any work we do,” says Kobeščak.

Working with Unstructured Data and Real-Time Adaptation
Deep learning, a subset of machine learning, is used to process unstructured data such as text, images, and sound. This allows, for example, automatic sentiment analysis in user reviews or object recognition in photos.
Another advantage of AI in data analysis is its ability to continuously learn and adapt. Models can be updated in real time, increasing the accuracy and relevance of the analysis. This is particularly useful in dynamic environments such as capital markets or social media platforms.

AI not only speeds up the analysis of large volumes of data but also enables more informed decision-making, process optimization, and the discovery of valuable insights that would otherwise remain hidden.
By implementing AI technologies, organizations can significantly boost their competitiveness and agility in a digital environment. What remains fundamental to all of this is knowledge of Excel, in which the obtained data and insights can be applied.
